Information we collect
We collect account details; stories, transcripts, recordings, and uploads you provide; detected cast and settings; generated scripts, storyboards, images, motion clips, narration, captions, and finished videos; subscription and credit events; support communications; and device, usage, security, and error logs needed to operate yapwme.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, preserve projects, transcribe and improve user-approved scripts, create and render media, process payments, meter usage, provide support, prevent abuse, debug failures, and understand product reliability and conversion. We do not use customer stories or recordings to train models unless the customer separately and explicitly opts in.
Service providers and payments
Authorized database, storage, email, analytics, error-monitoring, transcription, image, video, and voice providers process only the information needed for their contracted function. Stripe processes payments; yapwme does not store complete card numbers. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and deletion
Project media is kept while the project remains in your account so you can reopen and download it. After a project or account deletion request is completed, associated media is scheduled for deletion within 30 days, subject to short-lived backups and information we must retain for security, dispute, tax, accounting, or legal reasons. Credit and billing records may be retained separately as required.
Children and teens
yapwme is available only to people aged 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 and do not currently provide a verifiable parental-consent process for under-13 users. If we learn that an under-13 user provided personal information, we will restrict the account and delete the information as required. Teens should use the service with parent or guardian permission where applicable.
Your controls
You can edit or remove projects, download completed videos, update account and billing information, and request access to or deletion of account data. Necessary cookies and local storage keep you signed in, protect account security, and preserve unfinished drafts. Analytics choices will be exposed where required by applicable law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Privacy questions and data requests can be sent to privacy@yapwme.com.
